Welcome

I am an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner providing services to the Niagara region. I offer a patient-centered approach to optimize your health and wellness.

About Your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

I am a graduate from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO)  in Hamilton, Ontario with a Masters in Practice Diploma of Osteopathic Sciences (M.OMSc) where I finished amongst the top of my class.  My passion for Osteopathy is rooted in my belief of holistic and comprehensive health-care. This interest in the optimization of well-being began in the mental health field, but transformed over time to a body-based approach to wellness. I was introduced to Classical Osteopathy from the CAO, and gained a true appreciation for the body’s natural ability to strive for health and the intricate connection between healthy anatomy and physiology. This discovery has led to a lifetime passion and commitment to facilitating health and wellness through manual therapy.  Using my patient-centered approach, I want to serve the  Niagara region.

What is Osteopathy ?

Osteopathy is a gentle manual therapy rooted in the understanding of the relationship between structure and function within the body. When the structure of the body is imbalanced, this can contribute to altered mechanics, discomfort, dysfunction and eventually disease. Osteopathy uses manipulation in order to restore healthy mechanics within the body. By doing this, obstructions within the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics are eliminated, which allows the tissue of the body to have optimal nutrition and health. Osteopathy isn’t a symptom based approach to health and wellness. It is a way to unveil and understand the root problems that are manifesting within your body.

What Osteopathy can address

Since Osteopathy addresses the root cause of your conditions, symptoms and structural imbalances, it is a safe and effective treatment for all ages and demographics

Reintroducing motion through your musculoskeletal system liberates your neurovasculature which improves the environment surrounding your body’s tissue and organs. This can have an effect on hormones, digestive issues, sleep, range of motion, chronic or acute pain, and much more. Your body’s health relies on structural alignment in order to achieve optimal health.
